Refund policy

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.  When trying on footwear, be sure to do so on a carpeted floor to avoid marking the soles.

Returns are not accepted for earrings, swimwear or undergarments.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@melbelle.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returns are subject to a £5 return shipping fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.  This shipping fee will be waived if we made a mistake, if the item is defective and for exchanges, when you use our prepaid shipping label.

Christmas returns policy
We offer an extended return period for Christmas, whereby any goods purchased between 30th October and 24th December will have until the 28th January the following year to be returned. For example, a product purchased on 31st October 2023 can be returned up until the 28th January 2024. For purchases made from the 25th December onwards, our normal 15-day refund policy applies.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  


Please send us the following info:

  • Your Order Number

  • Item Name

  • Photos that show:

    1. The fault as clearly as possible

    2. Full-length photo of the item

    3. The Melbelle packaging and receipt

Don't worry about sending your faulty item back to us, just keep hold of it until you've been in touch.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), earrings and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The full return delivery charges are payable by the customer for all returns outside of the United Kingdom.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If you want to order an item in a different size, a different design or another colour, please place a new order in our online shop.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
