Introducing

Wide Fit Cowboy Boots

Discover our collection of wide fit cowboy boots — designed for women who've always found standard sizing just a little too snug. Whether you're shopping for cowboy boots for wide feet or need a little more room through the calf, our edit is built around real fit, not compromise.

We know how hard it can be to find western boots that actually work for your foot shape. Too narrow through the toe, too tight through the shaft — it's a frustration we hear often. This collection changes that.

Finding your fit: wide foot and wide calf cowboy boots

Getting the right fit in cowboy boots matters more than most footwear. For wider feet, look for:

  • A square toe boot or roomy round toe that doesn't pinch or squeeze across the widest part of the foot
  • Leather that softens and shapes with wear, gradually moulding to your individual foot

For wider calves, look for:

  • A shaft with generous circumference — our wide calf cowboy boots are cut with a fuller leg to sit comfortably without pulling or rubbing
  • Additionally, most low calf cowboy boots and ankle cowboy boots are suitable for wider calves

A well-fitting wide fit cowboy boot should feel secure but never restrictive — supportive enough for long days, comfortable enough to forget you're wearing them.

Style without sacrifice

Wide fit doesn't mean limited choice. Our collection spans everything from classic western silhouettes to softer, boho-inspired styles — all in cuts that accommodate a fuller foot or/and calf without losing their shape or elegance.

Style them with:

  • Midi dresses and floaty skirts for an effortless, feminine look
  • Straight-leg or wide-leg denim for everyday ease
  • Festival layers and relaxed summer outfits

The brands we trust

We stock only brands known for quality construction and genuine comfort — including Ariat, Liberty Black, Corral, and Durango — so you can invest with confidence. Real leather, thoughtful craftsmanship, and cuts designed to last.

Finding cowboy boots for wide feet used to mean settling. This collection is here to prove otherwise.

FAQ'S:

The cowboy boot sizing varies between brands and even different styles from the same brand. The toe shape will affect the foot width of the boot, and the shaft height and calf circumference will affect the calf fit. We provide sizing guides on the individual product pages to help you find the perfect western boots.

When trying on cowboy boots, you should check three things:

  1. You should hear a 'pop' as your foot slides into the boot and a pocket of air is released. They should feel tight as you're pulling them on.
  2. Your heel should slip slightly whilst walking
  3. The cowboy boots should fit snugly across the bridge of your foot, but it should feel comfortable. When you lift your heel whilst keeping your toes on the ground, you should see a couple of parallel creases in the boot over the bridge of the foot. If there are several creases and they are going in different directions, the boots are too large.

Care for your cowboy boots by following these steps:

Break them in – Leather cowboy boots fit better when they’re broken in, since the leather stretches to conform to your foot shape.

Regularly brush off dirt – If you wear your boots often, brush off dirt and mud at least once a week with a brush or cloth.

Deep clean and condition your boots – Clean your cowboy boots with a leather-specific cleaner every three to six months, followed by leather conditioner.

Repair your boots as needed – This includes simple stitching repairs or resoling when your soles are damaged or worn out.
